HOW IT WORKS

Local business networking that fits around your work

Networking48 is organised into county communities. Members find each other in an online directory, make introductions, and meet in person at county events.

Six steps

  1. 1

    Choose your county

Pick the county where you do most of your business. It becomes your primary county: the directory you see first when you sign in. You can add other counties at the same time.

  2. 2

    Build your member profile

After payment you set up your profile in four short steps: you, your business, how you network, and a final check. Your profile goes live to other members when it's complete.

  3. 3

    Explore the member directory

Search the members of each county you belong to by name, business, category or what they offer, and see how to contact them.

  4. 4

    Make introductions

Members say what they can help with and who they'd like to meet, so it's easy to see where a conversation is worth starting. You contact each other directly.

  5. 5

    Attend member events

Regular quarterly member events are included with your membership. Members see the details, RSVP online and add events to their calendar.

  6. 6

Add more counties as you grow

Do business across a border? Add another county from your account whenever you like. It's added to the same membership and monthly payment at the additional-county price, and your minimum term doesn't change.

THE DETAILS

Counties, visibility and events

Your primary county
The first county you choose is your primary county. It's where your directory opens when you sign in and it's the community you're most closely part of. You can change it later from your profile.
Additional counties
Each extra county gives you its full member directory and events. They're all on one membership and one monthly payment, at a lower price for each county after the first. Adding one never changes your minimum term, and removing one takes effect at the end of a monthly billing period.
Who can see your profile
Your profile is visible only to signed-in members who share a county with you, and only once your profile is complete. It is not published on the public website unless you choose to be featured on your county page.
Events
Regular quarterly member events are included with your membership. Members see the event details and who else is going, and can RSVP. Some events are also listed on this website so visitors can see what a county is like.
Your contact options
You decide whether other members can see your email address and your phone and WhatsApp numbers. Even when you share them with members, they are never shown on the public website.
